Sushanta Kumar Pal,
Postdoc student
Sushanta join the lab in October 2021 as a postdoctoral fellow at Tel Aviv University. He received his M.Sc. degree in physics from University of Delhi and M.Tech. degree in Applied Optics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He got his Ph.D in physics from ‘Indian Institute of Technology Delhi’, India. After his Ph.D. he was a senior project scientist at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi for one year. Before joining Tel Aviv University he was a postdoctoral fellow at Raman Research Institute, Bengaluru, India. During his research he carried out interference based experiments in classical optics, in particular on generation of various lattice fields embedded with polarization singularities. At present Sushanta is interested in generation and detection of various vector beams. In addition to this he is also interested in investigation of interaction of spin-orbit beams with customized nonlinear crystals and shaping of spin-orbit beams.
